Galleries, museums, concert halls, events, and many artistic venues across Central New York were the first to close down because of COVID-19 and will be last to reopen. Entire seasons and exhibitions and summer and fall festivals continue to be postponed and cancelled. This fund was created by CNY Arts to provide COVID-19 emergency assistance for artists and cultural groups.

Your donation to the CNY Arts COVID-19 Impact Fund will help provide resiliency grants to artists and arts, culture, and heritage organizations in the seven county CNY Arts region. Funding is critical to these arts and cultural providers as they work to restart, reopen, and serve our communities as we heal and rebuild.

CNY Arts serves the counties of: Cayuga, Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, and Oswego. If you wish to designate your donation for a specific area of interest (e.g., theater, music), please indicate that in the “Message to Fundholder” box below.

All contributions made to the CNY Arts COVID-19 Impact Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $175,000, by the Community Foundation, The Dorothy and Marshall M. Reisman Foundation and the John Ben Snow Foundation. Donations toward the first $75,000 must be postmarked or made online by December 31, 2020.
