Seventeen grants from our Black Equity & Excellence Fund totaling $240,000 were distributed to support Black-led nonprofit organizations and projects that counteract systemic racism.

This is the first time Resilia’s cutting edge training has been offered in the Central New York community.

Last month’s Juneteenth parade, a city-wide expression of pride, brought together the Black community in a display of cultural recognition and social dialogue. Without the phenomenal work of Juneteenth Inc., the festival would not have touched as many hearts as it did.

"My hope is that more people are drawn to Central New York because of an expanding arts and culture scene. I believe a bright future for CNY is one that is invested in telling the stories of the people of this region and our connection...

Monica Merante explains why we are capturing new data on our donors to help improve our equity efforts going forward.
