Giving Voice Spring 2021: Grantee Story

The fight to end the generational poverty in our community is ongoing. Fortunately, there are a number of organizations and individuals in Central New York that are invested in this fight for poverty reduction. See how Catholic Charities of Onondaga County is doing just that.

The Cayuga Community Fund anticipates awarding approximately $70,000 in grant funding this year.

Since inception, the Kilian Memorial Scholarship has awarded over $320,000 in total scholarship dollars to 39 local students.

For Black History Month, we chose to highlight two of our Black Equity & Excellence Fund grantees that were named after historical figures: The William Herbert Johnson Bar Association of CNY and the Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company.
