In the eighth year of its Cortland County Bright Ideas grants program (Bright Ideas), the Central New York Community Foundation distributed $45,000 to nine nonprofit organizations serving residents of Cortland County. Each organization received a $5,000 grant.

Before Rosemary Bucci passed away, she named the Central New York Community Foundation the recipient of over $1.5 Million bequest to create the Bucci-Deserio Family Foundation.

Our new “Universal Application” offers students a streamlined way to apply for scholarships, transforming the process from an overwhelming task into a manageable one.

Nonprofit applicants are invited to submit grant proposals for enhancing their organization and better serving their community.
