ABOUT THIS EVENT
In this 2-hour hybrid workshop, nonprofit leaders will learn crucial, evidence-based concepts and frameworks for how people in their organizations tend to experience and navigate organizational change. We discuss what nonprofit employees go through when experiencing big organizational change processes, the psychology of change, and what you should expect as a change leader or manager.
AT THIS EVENT
- This workshop will help attendees discover why a large percentage of big organizational change projects fail to achieve their objectives – and most importantly, what to do about it as a leader.
- You will walk away with practical tools for how to communicate about change, how to interpret as well as navigate resistance to change, what factors can either motivate employees to move towards change or experience threat as a result of change, and how to take away frictions that stop employees from embracing change.
- We will use participant interaction strategies that provide for active learning, peer sharing opportunities and one-on-one reflection work. Attendees will be offered worksheets to document their learning, receive a handout to share with their leadership teams, and work in small groups.
- Doors open at 8:30 am; presentation will begin at 8:45 am.
