LeadSafeCNY: Un vistazo a nuestras inversiones en los barrios

Un nuevo mapa de calor demuestra el impacto de nuestras inversiones vecinales hasta ahora a través de la iniciativa LeadSafeCNY.

En 2018, nos comprometimos a invertir 2 millones de dólares para ayudar a poner fin a la intoxicación infantil por plomo en Siracusa. Recientemente hemos publicado un mapa que muestra el impacto que han tenido nuestras inversiones hasta la fecha.

Acerca de LeadSafeCNY

LeadSafeCNY es una iniciativa de la Fundación Comunitaria de Nueva York Central, que ha asumido un compromiso plurianual para ayudar a disminuir las alarmantes tasas de intoxicación infantil por plomo de la región. Entendiendo que el envenenamiento por plomo socava todos los esfuerzos de la comunidad para ayudar a los niños a alcanzar su máximo potencial, LeadSafeCNY aborda este problema a través de múltiples enfoques que incluyen la financiación, la inversión de impacto y la colaboración para apoyar la construcción de viviendas sin plomo, la renovación de viviendas existentes, la divulgación y formación de la comunidad, el desarrollo de la mano de obra, la política pública y mucho más.
