Al combinar el poder de las donaciones individuales y los casi 1.000 fondos benéficos que invertimos a lo largo del tiempo, la Fundación Comunitaria de Nueva York Central multiplica significativamente el impacto de los residentes más caritativos de nuestra región, como tú.

Vivienda segura:

Nuestra iniciativa LeadSafeCNY está ayudando a poner fin a la intoxicación infantil por plomo para dar a nuestra próxima generación de residentes la esperanza de un futuro mejor. Hasta ahora, se han sustituido más de 1.600 ventanas y 160 puertas, se han construido o renovado casi 230 unidades de alquiler seguras y asequibles y se ha formado a más de 280 personas en la correcta eliminación de la pintura con plomo.

Literacy & Learning:

Fomentar la educación de los habitantes de nuestra región desde la infancia hasta la edad adulta es una prioridad de nuestras iniciativas y subvenciones. Se han distribuido casi 2 millones de libros infantiles gratuitos en el condado de Onondaga a través de la Biblioteca de la Imaginación de Dolly Parton, y más de 6.000 estudiantes de Say Yes Syracuse se han matriculado en universidades de 2 y 4 años.

Nuestros recursos y el conocimiento de la comunidad nos permiten actuar con rapidez en tiempos de crisis. Durante los primeros años de la pandemia de COVID-19 se distribuyeron más de 2 millones de dólares en subvenciones de respuesta.
