SRI Investment Pool Option Now Available for Fundholders

We are excited to announce that we now offer an investment pool for current and future fundholders who want to generate a competitive market return while also emphasizing social and environmental benefits.

When making investment decisions, many people choose options that provide a social impact while also helping them reach their financial goals. We are excited to announce that we now offer an investment pool for current and future fundholders who want to generate a competitive market return while also emphasizing social and environmental benefits. Our new Sustainable Responsible Impact (SRI) investment pool focuses on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The goal of our SRI pool is to achieve strong risk-adjusted returns in investments that have a positive impact on the world. Assets are invested for long-term returns sufficient to preserve and enhance inflation-adjusted grantmaking power. Our SRI pool seeks to support, promote and advance the following values and impact areas:

  • Quality Education
  • Ending Poverty
  • Anti-Racism
  • Arts & Culture
  • Well-being of Children
  • Economic Justice
  • Human Rights
  • Literacy
  • Public Policy & Advocacy

By incorporating socially responsible investing, we are working to drive social change and advance equitable outcomes within, and beyond, our community.

Going forward, new and existing fundholders can choose the main investment pool or the SRI pool. To learn more about how you can use the SRI pool for your fund, visit our investment management page or contact Pragya Murphy at pmurphy@cnycf.org or 315.883.5540.
