Anita Waite taught special education in the Canastota School District for almost 40 years. She was a dedicated teacher who cared deeply for her students and fellow teachers. Her husband established this fund in her honor to provide scholarships to students graduating from Canastota High School who have educational challenges and/or require special education services. Scholarship awards support tuition and expenses associated with the students’ attendance at an accredited college or trade school. To apply for this scholarship, please contact Canastota High School.
