After 30 years as New Process Gear’s chief executive, Anthony A. Henninger served as mayor of Syracuse. He is most remembered for his rehabilitation of the city’s educational system and for bringing International League baseball to Syracuse. His wife, Susan, helped charter the Corinthian Club in 1949 and was active in promoting early professional development opportunities for women. This fund was established by bequest in 1983 to support the broad and changing needs of the community.
