This fund was established in 1972 in honor of the former New York State senator and his wife by the Hughes family and partners at the Syracuse law firm, Mackenzie Hughes LLP. The fund supports organizations in the fields of health and developmentally challenged children, the primary charitable interests of John H. Hughes.
