Kathleen (Kaye) Sill Hoffman was a compassionate and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Kaye bravely battled breast cancer and sadly lost that battle in June of 2009.
Kaye spent countless hours volunteering her time in various capacities for many community organizations. The YMCA was one organization to which she especially devoted her time and energy. Kaye understood the demands of being a young mother with a young family and the challenges that go with it.
To celebrate and honor Kaye’s life, this fund will provide family membership subsidies for women battling breast cancer. This fund will assist young mothers who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer to access the many support services available and to help families cope during this difficult time. These support services will include facility access for all family members as well as access to programs such as child care.
