William Travis established this scholarship with a bequest from his estate to provide financial support for students who are economically disadvantaged, who work hard and want to continue their education beyond high school. Scholarship recipients are selected from both Geneva and North Rose-Wolcott high schools.
Requirements
Applicants must present financial need, be hard working, and plan on attending an accredited college/university or trade school. Two scholarships are awarded: one award is given to a student graduating from Geneva High School and one award is given to a student graduating from North Rose-Wolcott High School. Awards are renewable up to four years, pending the recipients provide proof of enrollment.
