2021-2022 Say Yes Syracuse Report Card Released

To learn more about the impact Say Yes Syracuse is having on SCSD students, view its newly released 2021-2022 Report Card.

Say Yes Syracuse recently released its 2021-2022 Report Card to demonstrate the positive outcomes that the program is having on Syracuse City School District students by providing them new opportunities to pursue a higher education.

Here are a few recent highlights:

  • Since 2009, 5,833 Say Yes Syracuse scholars have enrolled in 2- and 4-year colleges and universities after high school graduation.
  • A total of $13.8 million Say Yes scholarship funds have been distributed to put towards the cost of students’ higher education.
  • 33% of the overall SCSD Class of 2021 continued on to their second year of college, whereas 64% of Say Yes Scholars did.
  • 36% of the SCSD Class of 2021 completed a Say Yes application and 100% of Say Yes applicants enrolled in college in Fall 2021. 81% of students who graduated and went to college were Say Yes students that completed the application.
  • The SCSD graduation rate increased by 42% over the past ten years from 45% in 2010 to 64% in 2021.
