The Laker Transportation Project, Inc. was established to provide transportation for the aging population of the Skaneateles community. We are an all-volunteer organization. We prioritize transportation for medical appointments. We do not charge for transportation service. We created this fund at the Central New York Community Foundation to assist us with financial management and development. This partnership with the Community Foundation will enhance the availability of transportation services for the greater Skaneateles community. We intend to use this fund for capital expenditures, primarily the replacement of our vehicles (a van and a wheelchair bus) as needed.
