Fran Brown is the head football coach at Syracuse University, known for his people-first leadership style and DART philosophy: detailed, accountable, relentless and tough. Teara Brown, Fran’s high school sweetheart and longtime partner, has been a steady presence throughout his journey while also building her own career in health care.
Together, Fran and Teara reflect on the people and experiences that shaped them, the values that ground their family, and the importance of staying connected to where they come from. They also share how service has become a natural part of their lives, from helping others quietly and intentionally to raising their children with a spirit of generosity and community.
This conversation reaches far beyond football. It is a powerful reminder that leadership is rooted in purpose, love, humility and the willingness to serve others.
