The Heman Street Superior Effort Scholarship was established by Rhoda Sikes, a former teacher who instructed at Heman Street Elementary for 30 years. She established this scholarship to provide awards to graduating students of East Syracuse-Minoa High School with average academic performance but who wish to continue their education beyond high school.
Requirements
Applicant must be graduating from East Syracuse-Minoa High School, with average academic standing (B or C grade point average), who wishes to continue their education at a college, university, or technical school. One scholarship can be awarded.
