Marshall A. Nelson Urban Scholarship Fund

The richness of Marshall A. Nelson’s life is reflected by what he has given to others. He was an early crusader for civil rights. His bold and persistent efforts have benefited an untold number of women and minorities, helping them to gain access to corporate America. In an expression of appreciation, National Grid’s Minority Employees Advisory Council established this fund.

In March 2014, the Council announced that the Fund will support Syracuse City School students through the Say Yes Syracuse program.
