Community Foundation Announces Promotions

Danielle Johnson and Jenny Green have been promoted!

The Central New York Community Foundation has promoted Danielle Johnson to the position of Senior Director, Grants and Programs and Jenny Green to the role of Philanthropic Services Officer.

Danielle Johnson joined the Community Foundation in 2007 as a program associate. After serving the organization for over 14 years, she is now serving as Senior Director, Grants and Programs. Johnson oversees and manages the Community Foundation’s $1.7 million Community Grant program as well as its nonprofit leadership development and capacity building programs. In addition to her position at the Community Foundation, she also sits on the Advisory Board of the Housing and Homeless Coalition of Central New York. Johnson resides in Baldwinsville with her husband and children.

Jenny Green started as a development associate at the Community Foundation in 2016. In her new role as Philanthropic Services Officer, she serves constituent data-related needs across the organization, analyzes data and provides consult for technology issues related to the Foundation’s software systems. Green received a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management from Alfred State College and is set to soon receive a master’s degree in Information Systems from Marist College.
