To Adeline Maltzan, responsibility and hard work were the keys to success in both academics and life. Before succumbing to cancer in 1996, she included a bequest in her will that awards annual scholarships to the top ten graduates of Sherburne-Earlville High School. Instead of naming the fund for herself, Adeline chose to honor her two greatest inspirations — her conscientious, hard working parents.
