Krupke Family Memorial Award Fund

The Krupke Family Memorial Award Fund was established in memory of Charles “Chuck” and Barbara “Jane” Krupke and their son Bruce Krupke. Chuck and Jane were residents of Pulaski, NY for over 60 years. During that time, they owned and operated several businesses and were very active in the community. Chuck was a talented trumpet player and back in the day could be found playing at a Saturday night dance with two or three other local musicians.

Bruce was a 1976 graduate of Pulaski Academy Central High School and played trombone in the school band. He was also an accomplished pianist and had a very successful wedding band for over 20 years. He inherited the entrepreneurial spirit from his parents and operated two businesses in addition to his successful career in the dairy industry.

Music and business were always an important part of Chuck, Jane and Bruce’s lives. Family members established this fund to honor their memory with an award to a student at Pulaski Academy Central High School who shares similar passions. Scholarships from the fund will support graduating seniors with plans to pursue college, trade school, apprenticeship or military service who have been an inspiration in the school’s music or business program. Students interested in applying for this scholarship should contact Pulaski Academy Central High School.
