Established in 2001, the Syracuse Poster Project brings together poets and artists to create an annual series of civic art posters. The Project enlivens the streetscape, strengthens the city’s sense of place, and emphasizes Syracuse as a place of creativity, culture, diversity, and civic entrepreneurship.
For much of its history, the Project operated with interns, volunteers, and an unpaid director. This fund was established to support a paid director and ensure the Project’s financial viability into its third and fourth decades.
