The Emerick Fund was established by Helen Stacy, a Cazenovia resident, who grew up in Oswego. Seeing the announcement of a friend’s gift to the Oswego County Community Foundation in the media, coupled with her fondness for the Great Bear Springs Recreation Area, led her to create this fund to support organizations within Oswego County with a preference for projects and programs at the preserve.
