Theodore Fenstermacher, a Cortland attorney also noted for his position as Chief Prosecutor in the Nuremberg war crimes trials, established this fund by bequest in 2001 for the general benefit of the Cortland community. Today it provides broadly responsive support to Cortland area nonprofits.
