Florence G. Gaedeke was the first person from her English family to be born in America. She married her high school sweetheart and soon after had their first son, William (Billy). Tragically, Billy was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1988. Florence established this fund through her estate in memory of her son to support several charities that address a variety of health issues.
