A list of nonprofit partners that are positioned to provide immediate support

How to Help Those Losing Food Stamp Benefits This Week

Beginning November 1, nearly 100,000 people in Central New York will be impacted by a temporary halt of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This is expected to place added strain on local food providers and human service organizations already working to meet rising needs.

In response, the Community Foundation is sharing a list of nonprofit partners that are positioned to provide immediate support. Community members who are looking to help can consider directing donations to these organizations, each playing a vital role in ensuring that neighbors across Central New York have access to essential resources during this time.
