Jim Mackin

Jim wants Central New York to be a place where everyone can realize their personal dreams.

When his clients ask how they can accomplish their charitable objectives, Jim often introduces them us, saying that over its history, the Community Foundation has successfully carried out its mission to improve the quality of life for the residents of Central New York.

Jim believes that our staff is skilled at matching donors’ charitable interests with the critical and long-term needs of the community.

“The Community Foundation is adept at sharing its experience, leadership and resources to help jumpstart community initiatives for the advancement of many fields of interest,” he stated. “Donors can realize tax savings while taking advantage of the Foundation’s national investment consultant to grow their philanthropic investment.”

Jim wants Central New York to be a place where everyone can realize their personal dreams. For that to be achieved, he explained that local charitable organizations need the necessary resources to accomplish their goals. To him, a financially strong and proactive community foundation is the cornerstone of a progressive, caring community.
