Give to the Stephen C. Schmidt Memorial Foundation

Maybe you knew him as Steve, Bo, Dogger, Rudy or Schmidtty. Maybe he was your son, husband, father, brother, uncle, neighbor, co-worker or teammate. Whatever your relationship, he made you feel special and lifted your spirits with his smile. Everyone who knew him was touched by his caring compassion. None who knew him will ever forget Steve Schmidt.

Steve died suddenly at the age of 61, too young for someone who embraced life as much as he did. His high school friends established this fund in his memory because they will always remember him, and they want others to know his generous spirit even if they cannot know him personally. The fund will provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Fayetteville-Manlius High School who is both an athlete and a musician and exemplifies the positive attitude, mentoring and leadership that Steve was known for. Steve Schmidt gave us great joy in his lifetime. By your contribution to this fund, you will perpetuate the legacy of his caring spirit and continue the joy he created. Learn More
