Carleton Simon grew up on a family farm on Fly Road and taught science classes at East Syracuse-Minoa High School. Through a bequest received in 1999, this scholarship was established in his name to support future graduates of East Syracuse-Minoa High School who demonstrate similar interests in furthering their education.
