Joel David Namy Scholarship Fund

Joel Namy, a graduate of Cazenovia High School, was a Class of 2009 cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point when he passed away. He persevered to succeed in everything that he did and embraced life in a way that positively affected those around him. Joel’s loved ones established this scholarship to memorialize his selflessness and professionalism. Recipients of this scholarship must possess qualities of altruism and resilience while demonstrating the ability to serve as a role model to the community and Cazenovia High School.

Requirements
Applicant must be graduating from Cazenovia High School, in good academic standing, have an exceptional reputation among teachers, and must be well respected by other students. Additionally, the applicant is to be consistently faithful to their sport and team, display a high moral standard, be trustworthy, demonstrate perseverance, possess a strong work ethic, and be considered a major benefit to society. One scholarship can be awarded.
