This fund, established by Josh Allyn, awards an annual scholarship to a student who will attend a college or university in pursuit of a degree in the fields of agriculture, food science or engineering, or who comes from a farming family.
Requirements
Applicant must be graduating from one of the following districts: Auburn, Baldwinsville, Jordan-Elbridge, Marcellus, Skaneateles, Weedsport or West Genesee, plan to attend a 2- or 4-year college/university in the US full-time, and EITHER pursue a degree in agriculture, food science, or engineering OR come from a farming family. Application must include an essay/cover letter describing student’s desire for the scholarship and a high school transcript. One scholarship can be awarded and is renewable up to four years, pending the recipient maintains at least a 2.0 GPA and provides proof of enrollment.
