Cheerleading presented an opportunity for Shannon to share her enthusiasm for life with her friends. Gifts from Shannon’s family and friends established this scholarship to be given in the names of Shannon and her friend Jessica Flegal and cousin Liane West after their deaths in an automobile accident in 2002.
Requirements
Applicant must be graduating from LaFayette Junior Senior High School, a cheerleader, planning to attend college/university, and who best exemplifies the qualities, values and character of Shannon. One scholarship can be awarded.
