Melanie Littlejohn, president & CEO, moderated a panel with leadership of Empire State Development, New York State Department of State, and Homes and Community Renewal.  Topics included the $100 billion Micron investment, New York State’s leadership in guiding smart and inclusive growth, and the significance of inter-agency coordination, cross-jurisdictional collaboration and public-private partnerships.

Frank Ridzi, vice president of community investment, and Melanie Littlejohn presented to the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Initiative about community foundations and civil society. Frank also presented about community indicators and housing to the leadership team of VIP Structures.

Kimberly Sadowski, vice president and chief financial officer, was a guest on the CNY Women’s Network’s Cultivate Podcast.

Monica Merante, senior director of philanthropic services, was invited to present on a panel entitled If I Only Knew Then What I Know Now, at the Pennsylvania Community Foundation Association’s annual conference.

Colby Cyrus, senior program manager, and Frank Ridzi, vice president of community investment co-presented on childhood lead poisoning, family relocation and the implications for public policy at the Association of Public Data Users Annual Conference.
