Dear Community Foundation Friends,

I am honored and deeply humbled to greet you as the new President and CEO of the Central New York Community Foundation. I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me to lead this esteemed organization into the future.

With over 30 years of dedication to our region, I bring with me a wealth of experience in relationship development, problem-solving, and fostering collaboration across all sectors of our community. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of coming together to address challenges, seize opportunities, and build a brighter future for all. Now, as I step into this new role, I am more committed than ever to leveraging our collective strengths to drive positive change and make a lasting impact.

My vision for the future of the Community Foundation is rooted in transparency, honesty, and accessibility. I promise to be a leader who is open and available, who listens to your concerns, and who seeks to understand diverse perspectives from within our community. Collaboration will be at the heart of everything we do, as we convene stakeholders from all sectors, to tackle the complex issues facing our region.

Together, we have the opportunity to create a future where every individual and family in Central New York can thrive. I am committed to working tirelessly alongside each and every one of you to make this vision a reality.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. I am excited and honored to embark on this journey together, and I am confident that, by working collaboratively, we will build a stronger, more vibrant Central New York region for generations to come.

With warm regards,
Melanie Littlejohn
President & CEO
