Below are descriptions of the terms you will find on your fund statement. If one of these sections does not appear on your statement that means it does not pertain to your fund activity for the given reporting period. If you have questions or need help reading your statement, please contact us at donorsupport@cnycf.org.

Contributions & Other Additions: Gifts into your fund.

Investment Gains/Losses: Market activity on invested assets. If your fund does not receive returns from our investment pool (e.g. a nonparticipating fund), this section will be omitted.

Grants Paid: Distributions you requested out of your fund.

Other Expenses: Expenses other than grants of support fees that may have been incurred by your fund. A common example is fees charged by credit card companies for online donations.

Support Fees: The administrative cost of CNYCF managing your fund.

Assets: Investments and any other assets held by your fund. Common examples of other assets are pledges receivable, life insurance and impact investments.

Payables/Liabilities: Scheduled grants to be paid in the future. A common example is a multi-year grant to a charity.

Contributions for Statement Period: Details gifts into your fund during reporting period. If no contributions were added to your fund during period, this section will be omitted.

Grants for Statement Period: Details distributions out of your fund during reporting period. If no grants were distributed from your fund during period, this section will be omitted.
