Two scholarships of $3,100 will be awarded and may be renewable annually for up to 4 years (or 5 years for engineering only), subject to the recipients’ continued full-time matriculation in their program of study and maintenance of a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
The Black Equity & Excellence Advisory Council is charged with reviewing grant proposals and making funding recommendations as well as identifying gaps and opportunities to create a more equitable and economically inclusive Central New York for the Black community.
Nonprofit applicants are invited to submit grant proposals for enhancing their organization and better serving their community.
The grants will fund projects that support the advancement and full participation of women and girls in Central New York.
Over $35,000 in grants will assist nonprofits serving the Village of Pulaski and the Town of Richland.
