Peter Dunn, outgoing president & CEO, introduces our new strategic plan and remarks on his 15-years at the Community Foundation.

Our new five-year strategic plan deepens our existing work and takes on new opportunities that will materially improve our region through inclusion, civic and community engagement, and growth in local philanthropy.

Warren Hilton, Ed.D, President, Onondaga Community College and Leyla Z. Morgillo, CFP®, Financial Planner, Madison Financial Planning Group appointed to serve their first three-year term on our Board of Directors.

The position’s Leadership Profile calls for a candidate who “will be a seasoned community leader broadly experienced in leading collaborative efforts that address tough issues across diverse communities of interest.”

In May, leaders from five local grassroots and nonprofit organizations celebrated their completion of The Leadership Classroom (TLC). After participating in monthly training sessions, each group received a $4,000 grant to implement a community project that is proposed and planned during their training.
