Anne knows that her clients with charitable interests are in good hands when working with us.

Anne knows that her clients with charitable interests are in good hands when working with us. She says our staff is attentive to detail, caring, and most importantly, they listen. We take the time to sit down with Anne’s clients and find the best way to help them achieve their charitable giving goals.

Many of Anne’s clients choose to set up a donor-advised fund. This allows them to flexibly and easily support the charities and causes that they care about during their lifetimes. We also provide a number of ways for her clients to continue making a difference even after they’re gone.

Our legacy giving services allow individuals and families to ensure their money is staying local and making an impact on their community in perpetuity. Donors can leave a planned gift through their estates, or by using assets like life insurance or retirement plans.

“I am pleased with how the Community Foundation acts as a steward of its donors’ funds,” she said. “Staff research charitable organizations to ensure that money is being distributed wisely, and that grants are addressing the greatest needs in the community. If a donor’s favorite organization fails to exist in the future, they will seamlessly shift support to a similar organization to continue carrying out the donor’s intentions.”

Having lived in the community for so many years, Anne is happy knowing there is an organization like the Community Foundation out there to support the organizations and causes that she and her clients care about for generations to come.
