Marsellus M.A.D.E (Mission-driven, Achievement, Dedication, and Elevation) to Lead

Our Central New York region is growing, and we have a lot of talented leaders who are positively impacting our local communities. This six-month organizational leadership program is designed for mid-level and senior managers within nonprofit organizations who have demonstrated their commitment to Mission-driven, Achievement, Dedication, and Elevation! This cohort-style leadership program brings professionals from various nonprofit sectors together to embark on a profound learning journey. Our Glass Consulting aims to unlock leadership potential, improve capacity, expand peer support network, and provide space to explore and solve daily challenges.

While this program is sponsored by the Community Foundation, it is facilitated by a third-party consulting firm. As such, personal and professional information shared by participants with the consultants and members of the cohort is kept confidential.

  • Current employees of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations serving residents of Onondaga or Madison counties
  • Employee must be leading a department or managing flagship programs
  • Must be interested in developing personal and professional leadership skills
  • Employee must have two years of experience in the nonprofit sector
  • Program management and/or supervisory responsibility required
  • Priority will be given to applicants from small- or mid-sized organizations that often have limited professional development resources.

This program includes a mixture of presentations, guest speakers, structured activities, case studies, and worksheets to ensure that participants receive the maximum value.

  • Each cohort consists of 10-12 participants
  • Six half-day workshops (1x per month)
  • Monthly Virtual Touch Point Meetings (semi-structured and TBD based on scheduling)
  • Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • One-on-one coaching (three 1 ½ hour sessions per participant)
  • Leadership assessments
  • Networking opportunities
