8/28 Day Spotlight | UrbanTSyr

The Black Equity & Excellence Fund allowed for optimization of UrbanTsyr online content with professionally enhanced videos and marketing of various initiatives.

To celebrate 8/28 Day, we asked some of our Black Equity & Excellence Fund recipients this question: “What was your organization able to achieve/build because of the grant from the Black Equity & Excellence Fund?”

Here’s what Latisia Hall-Cannon of the UrbanTsyr had to say:

With the assistance of the Black Equity & Excellence Fund, a new UrbanT website was able to be built where the T (scoop, juice, information) is shared on what is happening in Syracuse and the surrounding areas.  In a couple of weeks, the new website will launch with its additional features, including event promotion submission, access to WOKE Wednesday content and everyday stories to inspire the Urban community. The fund also allowed for optimization of UrbanTsyr online content with professionally enhanced videos and marketing of various initiatives, hosted by UrbanTsyr or sponsored by other community organizations in which UrbanTsyr supports.
